Since Nintendo'southward relationship with Netflix went southward, there oasis't been many Nintendo-related game-to-film/TV adaptations. Outside of thePokemonTV shows and the Detective Pikachumovie, Nintendo hasn't been fastened to any released adaptations since the infamous and highly meme-ableDonkey Kong CountryTV series.

Right at present, they're working with Illumination, the studio behind the Despicable MeandMinionsmovies, on a new Mariomovie. Nintendo and Illumination have been predictably hush-hush near the projection aside from its September 2022 release engagement. Because the film manufacture has been so securely impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it could easily get pushed back.
